The OSSO project focuses on security, upgrading and publicly release of the Smart Object Oriented (SOO) framework which is currently being developed in the REDS Institute (HEIG-VD).
Security consists in developing various mechanisms to secure the discovery of smart objects in their neighborhood and the transport of mobile entities (MEs) containing a full (SO3-based) execution environment. The upgrading mechanisms allow the resident software part called Agency as well as the mobile entities to be upgraded in all smart objects of the ecosystem.

This project has formally finished on March 03, 2020. Most objectives have been successfully reached and the framework including documents has been released publicly on Gitlab.
